I have bought this product on discs because I live in remote rural Australia and do not have broadband. Installed it but then find that I must have internet access to achieve a functioning product, that was not clearly explained to me and I cannot see any reference to it on the box. After driving to town to activate encoder I find this does not work. I can see that others have had this problem, for the past two year at least, but the discussion forums have been removed.

Now what can I do?

Bin it and buy another product?
