Multiple Transitions 'End-at-Cut' shortcut?

Jul 3, 2012 5:40 PM

I am trying to find a way to apply a cross dissolve that ends at the cut to multiple cuts.

i realize that this can be achieved by either placing it there in the first place, or dragging the transition after it has been placed. however, i have many transitions to place, and i am trying to find a time saver.

can this be achieved with a customized transition preset? can this placement be set as the default transition placement? can multiple transitions be moved at the same time?

any thoughts?

thanks.

No to all.  After the fact, your only option is manual readjustment.

Why not place your cut point earlier (or later) and use the Default Cross Disolve Transition ?

Use the 'Play Around " shortcut once you hit the edit point..

i usually just manually click on the middle of each clip and thats a bit of a hassle.

That would be the norm, though.  It's the same for all of us.
