A few days ago I bought a new Sony NEX camera, replacing my Canon EOS that I bought back in 2002. I went through my old camera bag and found a completely unopened disk of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. I opened it and tried it on my MacBook (I did not have a Mac back in 2002), but unfortunately OS X Lion no longer supports PowerPC apps. I could not open it.
I was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade to Photoshop Elements 10 for free or for a lower price than the full version. I have serial numbers. This is pretty bizarre, I know!
Thanks for any assistance. The technical support chat did not really help me any.
Do you really expect a free upgrade for ten-year old software?
There is an upgrade version available from Adobe, but the price is still usually higher than it is to buy the full version from the major online resellers like amazon or from big box stores, which often use PSE as a loss leader.
