I'm published a custom viewer application with itune subscriptions and entitlements.
With iTune subscription, everything works fine.
But there is a problem on the entitlement.
We able to signed in with an username, password and the library entitled the folios which already purchased/subscribed via direct entitlement. The buy button is changed to download button.
But the folio can't be download when we press the download button.
The error message shown
"Cannot connect to server at this time. Please try again later".
I tested it on a web browser and every calls is working fine.
I developed the entitlement API in such a way that it will log every call request and activities.
I found that the /verifyEntitlement never get called.
Can anyone help me about this?
I'm not sure is there any mistakes in our web server configuration or anything?
And I would like to know the different of
Service URL, Service Auth URL and the url given with integrator id.
When I checked on Charles for debugging we found that the /signInWithCredentials and /entitlements request called the url given in our integrator id configuration, not the service URL or service Auth URL.
The two service URLs are for the Distribution Service, which should always be Adobe's. The integrator info points to the private entitlement service.
If you're not seeing the /verifyEntitlement call coming in to your entitlement service, you can infer that there is something configured incorrectly upstream from your tablet app. It would be best to leverage support directly to resolve this, rather than public forums, because you'll need to share account details to enable the investigation.
Thanks.
