How do I disable / bypass automated content formatting?

The HTML entity for an ampersand is showing as the title of my pages when using {module_pagename}.

    I am afraid this is a known issue at the moment, it will be solved however in the next release, the R179 update.

    Fixed? I want it to do that so when I use it in a template etc is valid HTML!

     

    John, if you leave templates without a title you will see that it uses page title from the page in the admin. page name is the name of the page, page title for the page title.

    If you want to use it specifically there is {tag_pagetitle} which only works inside the title tag of a template.
