Adobe Community: Import window does not open automatically as it did in LR3?

In >Preferences >General Tab make sure that the box <Show Import Dialog when a memory Card is detected> is checked.

Thanks for the response ... but that is checked? Any other thoughts? whats odd is that if you click on the import button the screen opens right up.

One mre thing....When I place the 1st card into the card reader it works fine, but after ejecting the card and inserting a 2nd card than LR4 doeas not opne import window automatically as it did in LR3?

I've had this same problem with every version of 4.x. Despite the preferences being set correctly, the import dialog does not open automatically anymore. I always have to open it manually.

I think this is because the actual card reader has been ejected from the USB port if that is the connection.

Maybe its a LR4 bug if were are both having it? Las t night I had a card dublicate on import, never had that happen before either???
