Unable to print PDF files.

Jul 5, 2012 6:44 PM

I am unable to print PDF files on my Epson printer. I have reinstalled the drivers, checked cables, installed updates, and tried a different HP printer with no luck. Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem on a Mac, the printer would spit out blank pages which drove me insane!

Not sure what other applications you have, I used to place the PDF into Illustrator and print that way, it worked but is a long winded work around.

Since updating the version of Acrobat to X i no longer had that problem.

Without providing any exact symptoms or information about your configuration, we really can't assist you. What do you mean by unable to print? The job doesn't spool? The job spools, but nothing comes out of the printer? Error message appear on the computer? Smoke billows from your printer? What?

Can you print to another printer?

Does Acrobat prompt you to "Save" during the Print process?

Other applications print to the printer, and another printer exhibits the same symptom...

It may be overkill, but from the Help menu there is a Repair Acrobat Installation option...
