I used spryassests in a div for the first time and have them working on the home page. When I click on a link say "rates" it works fine. I copied and pasted the code of the links div to the rates page. When on the rates page I click on another link like "cart sales" and the word "rates" stays in the url and I get a message that page cant be found. Here's what the url look like when I am on the "rates" page and click on "cartsales": http://www.playriversidegolf.com/rates/clubcar/cartsales12.html. How do I get "rates" out.

It's not clear from your description what Spry widget you're using. However, you can't just copy and paste Spry code from one page to another.

Spry widgets rely on a link to the relevant external JavaScript file. They also insert a block of JavaScript - usually at the bottom of the page. Without both the external file and the block of code, it won't work.

Unless you have a good knowledge of JavaScript, apply the Spry widget to each individual element and page separately.

If http://www.playriversidegolf.com/ is your home page, then I can assure you that you are not using any Spry widgets for you to be concerned about SpryAssets.

If you would like others to help you, you need to provide more precise information. As Gramps says, you're not using any Spry widgets on http://www.playriversidegolf.com/. You then refer to "another site", but don't say where it is. You also refer to "one link" that works, but again fail to say what the link is and where it is.

Describe the problem in clear terms:

    1. Give the URL of the page with the problem.
    2. Give the name of a link that works as expected
    3. State what happens when you click that link (give the URL of the page it leads to)
    4. Give the name of the link that doesn't work.
    5. State what happens when you click it
    6. State what you want to happen

By the way, Spry is not Java. It's JavaScript. The names are similar, but Java is not an abbreviation of JavaScript. They are two very different languages.
