When I load Audition 3 xml files into CS6 it tells me "no effects are supported". I also noticed that despite having loading all of my UAD plugins into the manager (and they show there), they are available in my effects menu. This is not good.
Thanks for any help on these issues.
Give the fantastic little utility "ses2sesx" written by Suite Spot (a regular contributor to this forum) a try. It can be a life saver (or at least a session saver!).

Wow, I feel saved. Thanks! I got the program and my sessions are loading...my effects are there including the uad. I saw this mentioned somewhere as well. Small blessings...still feeling insecure though.
Thanks, it was a life saver!
Now I can play my sessions (AA3 not working), however I have another problem. CS6 does not show my inputs correctly for my Mackie Onyx 1640. It shows one stereo input instead of the 16 mono inputs or 8 stereo inputs. I have no idea why, but of course I can't record.
Bummer, worse than bummer. I can record a single stereo track (fortunately I'm currently doing overdubs), but that's it. gees....
However, my 2 hours with CS6 has been very enjoyable, so that's good news ![]()
Glad there's some progress.
On the Mackie Onyx, make sure you have the latest Mackie ASIO drivers installed on your computer and selected in Audition. If not that, it might be a setting on the mixer itself (or the control software) but I have no experience with that mixer to make any further suggestions.
