Is it possible to pause the download and resume after a restart/shutdown?

Downloading: CS6 Master Collection trial

System: Mac OS X 10.6

Yes.
In the Adobe Download Assistant, next to the progress bar you'll find a smallish pause button.
If it does not resume automatically, click the same button and it should start where it left off.
