I'm new to screen writing software. Story is my first experience with any of these applications. I have been a Master Collection user since CS4. As I was exploring the new features of CS6, I happened across Adobe Story. I am attracted to the automatic databasing of metadata and was excited to see how this metadata could carry through a project from "script to screen." In practice however, I have been disapointed by the somewhat buggy nature of the interface, lack of tutorial content from Adobe or 3rd parties, and most of all by the price to access Story Plus.
Correct me if I am wrong, but is Adobe Story Plus only available to Creative Cloud subscribers? I wasn't able to locate a subscription price that was less than the cost of renting the entire Creative Suite. I have already purchased CS6 so paying for Story Plus on a monthy basis seems exhorbitant.
Please tell me I'm mistaken. ![]()
Hi.
Adobe Story is available as a stand alone subscription or with a subscription to the creative cloud.
You can buy a yearly subscription to Story plus at:
