Button that displays local html web content within same page

Is there a way to have a button action that would display local html web content inside a frame on the same page as the button without having to jump to another article? In otherwords, I'd like to create a series of navigation buttons on a single ID page and link those buttons to different html pages that would flow into a window on that same page when published to DPS.

Have you tried putting the web content frames in multistates?

    Sorry for the late reply!

So I didn't try it with Local HTML but I did try it with live sites,

Create a web content overlay as normal and link it to your local HTML file - this may only work proplery after you've bundled the stack folder with the HTML resources inside

do this say two or three times, and make a Multistate object with your three frames

then make a button that relates to these frames and that worked for me i will try it with a local HTML file

    Cheers!

This works fine. I've got 8 different local HTML files within a single MSO.  Best practice is to create your MSO first using blank/unassigned frames for your HTML content. Once created target each state and find your blank frame (I often name these in the layers palette prior to creating the MSO as it makes them easier to identify and select) then use the web content overlay to attach your local HTML file. Repeat in each state and then crete the buttons to action the state. If you need the HTML to activate instantly then set to auto play. User interaction at your discretion.
