CS6 HTML Resource issues

Jul 9, 2012 9:27 AM

Having trouble accessign my HTML Resource files.

I'm doing exactly the same thing I did in our last magazine.

I triple checked my naming conventions

for all files. Im trying to link a button to a pdf file as a "Go to URL" command.

I've accurately typed HTMLResources/file.pdf in the URL line.

Still not working. Telling me "The requested URL was not found on this server"

This was easy before. Did something change that I don't know about?

Nothing changed. Did you remember to upload the HTMLResources.zip file in your folio?

Just guessing; I made the mistake (several times) to zip the folder that contained the resources. That gave me the same error.

Zip the contents of the folder instead and rename the resulting file to HTMLResources.zip.

I was also going crazy with this error. Turns out someone had zipped the folder named HTMLResources, rather than zipping just the files.
