I am having trouble uploading my Jpeg images to the remote server. All the text uploads fine but the Jpegs resize themselves and are not able to be seen. Can anyone help?
Hi John
Thanks for the reply. Basically a number of files are involved, but as an example...
the file companyname.jpg is 7kb on the local server, after loading to remote host server using DW 6 we initially see it as 7kb - litterally for a second - it then overwrites the filesize to 0kb. If we download the file immediately from the host server while it still says 7kb, we see a complete logo, a minute later if you download it again the file is missing.
I hope that helps - anything you can suggest would be very helpful.
Thanks
It sounds as though you are one of the unlucky group of people with an FTP problem that affects only some users of DW CS6. Take at look at this thread. It's a very long thread, but you'll see in the second item that Adobe is working on a patch for this problem. It has details of how you can obtain an early version of the patch to see if it solves your problem.
Well if it happens with Filezilla, then either your FTP settings are wrong or there are issues with the Web host server and/or hosting account limitations.
Have you discussed the problem with your hosting service? Are there file size limits?
This doesn't sound like anything related to DreamWeaver, since you say the same thing happens with Filezilla.
