Flash - batch import question

Jul 9, 2012 9:20 AM

I am working with a team on a large flash project for an academic assignment. One member is making a whole bunch of graphical buttons for this, and I wanted to know if there is a way to batch convert a bunch (40ish) of jpeg images to symbols in the library. This would save a ton of time, and if the method would work for audio and video clips that would be perfect.

TIA for any help.

If you're on a PC, try this:

    1. Press and hold the Windows key, then press E (opens a Windows Explorer window)
    2. Navigate to the folder with your assets in it
    3. Arrange your windows so you can see both the library and the Explorer window
    4. Select the assets you want in the Library
    5. Drag them into the Library

Probably something similar will work if you're on a Mac, but will start with opening Finder.

Bridge may also offer something useful.
