Can or will you be able to tethered shoot in bridge 6 like you can with Lightroom3 & 4?
Can or will you be able to tethered shoot in bridge 6 like you can with Lightroom3 & 4?
It is a bit early to answer that question, Bridge version 6 is likely to appear in CS7... ![]()
But that aside you probably mean Bridge CS6 and sadly the answer is still no. It is a longstanding wish and it might work if you have pointed Bridge to the folder where the tethered shot images do appear and use the arrow keys to switch to the new imported files but that is far from ideal and not what you want to use.
So file a feature request for this, the more that want a feature the better chances it will get realized.
Here is a LINK that will give you a 7 step method to shoot tethered in Bridge. You do have a download and install an Adobe program "auto preview latest file".
Have not done a tethered shoot myself. If you try this let us know how it works.
Unfortunately, that link doesn't work for CS6 because the Auto Preview Latest File extension is not compatible with the current version of Bridge.
However, Lightroom 4.1 works great for tethering, no other software needed.
