Running reader 10.1.3 under Windows 7 Ultimate. Get blank screens when retrieving investment reports and the like using Adobe. This problem occurs on all of my Windows 7 machines but NOT under Windows XP. Does anyone have a clue?
Are you seeing this with PDF files embedded in web pages, or email attachments, or local files?
I don't know why this happens, but I have seen similar reports recently. Can you try to download them to your local disk if these are web documents or email attachments?
Thank you for responding. This happens for embedded PDF files such as monthly brokerage and bank statements, local files are OK. It has started happening within the last month. It does not happen under XP with either Adobe Reader 9 or 10.1.3. My conjecture is that one of the Windows 7 updates has something to do with this.
From what I gather from other topics with the same problem, this seems to happen mostly with secure documents on Windows 7; public documents seem to be ok - like this: http://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Acrobat_Reader_Rel easeNote_10.1.3.pdf
However, I have just checked my Amex statement online, and I do not see this problem using Waterfox 13 on Windows 7.
Could it be a browser problem? What browser do you use?
