MSO Slideshow autoplay issue

It seems that this issue has be raised before (aug 2011) but I cannot seem to find a resolution. Basically a simple MSO set at autoplay works fine on the first viewing in an article, however once the article is scrolled down to another page - on returning the the original MSO the autoplay no longer works. Opening another article and returning to the original MSO restarts the autoplay.

This seems like a new problem - as opening a completed project from 4 months ago - MSOs with autoplay work perfectly.

Any suggestions - or are we caught in a Tools update hell (again)

I believe autoplays are only supposed to be triggered when changing articles, and not when scrolling pages. I'm pretty sure this is not a bug.
