new user. very happy with the product and very happy with the forum help (thanks).
would anyone mind helping me figure out why two of my images appear to be displayed at very low resolutions when the adjacent images and the original png appear to be higher?
i am on a deadline and am wondering if i could get a couple of quick pointers about resolution in ID.
i tried unloading and reloading the two offenders without it fixing the issue.
View>Display Performance>High Quality Display should fix how the images look on your monitor. In any case, the display in InDesign is going to be lower that the original image, but it will use the original image for printing.
hi. thank you.
i have changed this setting (thanks) but i am not seeing it getting fixed. i /can/ see sometimes where the display has to "snap to focus" if i am scrolling or something (i have 13 GB in the mac pro) but on these images they still seem extremely pixelated.
i am also noticing others that appear to be highly pixelated as well...
thanks a ton gents.
it was old links apparently which i assume had to do with my re-organizing my images.
i gather that ID downsamples the images in order to give you an additional clue about this...
cheers and BIG thank you.
