How is an interactive sliding drawer for navigation created?

I am trying to create a interactive sliding drawer to use for navigation.  I can get it to open but can figure out how to collapse it. I am using buttons to start and reverse the action. I have seen this in items, but can't find any instructions.  Any ideas?

    I am not able to get you , could you elaborate and provide us screen shots to understand better.

     

    Also please tell the version of Indesign and OS you are using.

    I am using CS5.5 on Windows

     

    I have figured out how to create an open (move left) and a close (move right) animation using buttons to control the animation, however when I export to swf file, it only does the action once unless page is refreshed.

     

    How do you enable the action to repeat when the button is clicked again without page refreshing?
