Image sequence not staying in the confinements of a shape i.e. triangle

I have been going nut for the past 24hrs trying to create an image sequence that would be confined to a specific shape such as a triangle. Once running it on adobe content viewer on the iPad as I slide my finger across and the image sequence becomes its original shape "square", can anybody help with this issue?

Thanks.

How are you "confining" this image sequence?

Image sequences are overlays and unless you make what confines them part of the overlay, the image sequence will not be knocked out.

AFAIK, the shape of the container frame is irrelevant. The sequence will be rectangular.

You can try masking it by putting a two state MSO above it in the shape of a triangle but I’ve never tried that for an image sequence so I can’t guarantee it will work.

Then I don’t think believe there’s any way to do it.

    Hello Luke,

You certainly did something wrong. I've just tried it and it works!

On the background, I placed an images sequence in a rectangular block

Above, three grouped blocks to mask parts of the sequence. Group turned in MSO.

    Hope it's helpful (and clear)

I believe this is the correct way to accomplish this, Christophe. For more on this, @luke_patton, I would take a look at Bob Bringhurst's DPS Tips App, under the advanced overlays section..
