Hey there!
I'm just wondering if it is normal I don't have the 3D feature in Photoshop CS6. I had it installed in my old laptop (an old one with a AMD Vision processor) and the 3D option was available, but after I moved all my old programs to my new one (a Windows 7, 64 bits, Intel Core i5, Intel HD 3000 Graphics video card) this option is not available. I dunno if it's due to the fact that OpenCL is not available in my laptop or if it's anything else.
Can you help me solving that? Thanks in advance.

Not visible in the toolbar. I know I need 512 of VRam (I've have +1500 for this thing), so I think it isn't a problem due to this. I'm still thinking it's something related to OpenCL.

Hi! did you check if there is a more current driver? (I doubt that Intel would release them as often as nVidia/AMD, but one never knows...)
Also, open CL is only used for the acceleration of the Blur Gallery filters: http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-cs6-gpu-faq.html
Quite a lof of them seem to have been released last month: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng
Hi PECourtejoie, thanks for replying!
Yes, I do have Intel's latest driver. I tried to update it by using the Windows assistant, but it showed the driver was updated, but when I used Intel's Online Drive Check Utility (not actual name), it told me the driver was not updated, so I did it.
I'm still wondering what happens. I installed OpenCL and it isn't working yet.
Thanks for your help you all. If anyone here knows how to solve this, please, let me know.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but traditionally Intel's display driver quality has been, er, less than optimal. I had the impression for a while that they were trying to improve that, but so far they still seem to be struggling.
I can't quite tell whether your new system is a laptop or desktop from your comments, but if the latter and you can augment your system with a video card, that's one possible avenue to success... Something like a VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 7750 is only a hundred bucks.
If you have a laptop that possibility is likely not available, though how new is it? Maybe you can exchange it for one that will run Photoshop better?

Dr Manga, what do you mean by "I installed openCL?" You mean that in system info, the driver date is 20120608000..., and that OpenCL is enabled?
As I told you earlier, openCL is not related to the 3D features.
But are you sure that the 3D is disabled? The 3d tools on the move tool's option bar are greyed out until you create an actual 3D object.
If you have a text layer, or a layer with some text, and you go to the 3D menu, don't you see "create 3d layer from this layer" or something similar?
You really do need to completely remove the Beta, run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, then install the release.
Might not hurt, if that still doesn't give you success, to go into Help - System Info... and post the information here. It'll be kind of long, but it could be helpful in seeing what's going wrong.

@PECourtejoie: Yes, it was the official beta that I downloaded. No cracked or unofficial version, that's why I dunno what happens. Also, I don't know if it's a bad install or not. As there are two options when installing the beta (one says "Photoshop CS 6" while the other adds "(64 bits)" to its name), I tried installing first the 64 bits version, then the 2 of them together... And none is working!
@Noel: Hmm... I think I'mma try that tool and then I'll see what happens.
Thanks guys!
I installed it in my old laptop when it was release and moved the program from one computer before the trial period expired (using Windows Easy Transfer) because I thought I wouldn't install it on my new one. As the 3D option was not available after the transfer, I went risky and deleted the installation. I installed it again and it worked.
