I recently purchased a new computer running Windows 7. Every time I try to save a pdf document, nothing happens. I click on the save icon on the bottom floating display but it does not respond when being clicked on.
Do you have either Acrobat or Reader installed in your computer?
I uninstalled Reader and then downloaded and reinstalled the latest version today.
And what happened then?
No change. Same-click on save icon, nothing.
Does this happen with PDF files from the Internet? In the File menu, is 'Save' greyed out? Does 'Save as' work?
Yes, it does happen on the internet. When the file menu is visible,and I
click on the save icon, nothing happens.
Sorry, the file menu is not visible, only the save icon..
You can toggle the Menu Bar using F9.
F9 does not do anything. By menu bar, I am talking about icons only.
There is no actual menu visible like in Windows.
How if you use the browser's File menu; can you 'Save Page as'?
Sorry for the delay. I'm using Firefox and there are no file, etc tabs.
Maybe you have them hidden? In Firefox / Waterfox: Alt+V, T, M to toggle the Menu Bar.
Try a other browser.
