Zebra stripes

I had to reload my project. But of course it didn't load properly.

 

I had two problems.

 

One is certain squares on the timeline don't work, and have diagonal stripes across the squares on the timeline.

 

Another is that some clips are the wrong clip put in places.

 

I wonder if anyone knows how to fix either problem?

    Why do you say "of course"?  It's certainly not normal or expected behavior for this to get messed up.  So, that leads me to asking for more info.  What happened to mess this up?

    Of course meaning Murphy's law/PP bugs/my inexperience. As predictable as being talked down to on this forum.

     

    I don't know what happened, I've loaded it on several computers before, but never had striped clips that don't work.

    I think the mixed up footage is bcuz some clips have the same number file name. The question is can you fix broken clips, or replace ones that have used the wrOng file?

    Oh dear, I guess that's blown it!

     

    Start by identifying the folders that the correct material is in. 

     

    Open PP and, once the suspect project is loaded, right-click (PC) on the incorrect footage in the Project Window, and select "replace footage".  Navigate to the folder containing the correct material and select the correct footage.

     

    Repeat for all offending footage.
