can't run elements organizer 10

Tags: #run #launch #organizer #elements #10 #trouble

I bought Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements.

If I launch PSE, I get splash screen : Organise, Open or New Project.

If I Click on Organise, nothing happened.

So , click new project. Try New Diaporama. A little windows appears, 'load elements organizer'. Then stop, but nothing. So I can't access my photos by this way. So I can't do Diaporama, CD, DVD's ...

I have this trouble on PrE too ...

Thanks for your help and ideas :-)

Try making a direct shortcut for the Organizer. You can then launch the programs directly from the desktop bypassing the welcome screen. This is generally better as the welcome screen leaves background processes running.

On Windows, Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New à Shortcut

Then click the browse button and navigate to:

    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Elements 10 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe"

Then click Next; then click Finish

N.B. on 64 bit systems navigate to Program Files (x86)

Hold down your Shift key when launching the Organizer from that shortcut, and you'll get to the Catalog Manager window.  Create a new catalog and see if the Organizer will then open.

Are you keeping the shift key held down after you click? You need to do that.
