ACV Download Speeds

As of this morning, the download speeds in the Content Viewer are painfully slow. I'm 15 minutes in at the moment and have downloaded 24.6MB of a folio. I'm working on a moderately fast connection that yesterday was downloading the same 105MB folio in about 3 minutes. Internet and app downloads on my iPad are working fine. Anyone else struggling with the DPS server?

It's so slow that you could think it's stopped...

I spend about half an hour downloading 250 Mo...

Scott, if your folio is showing up with a blue slash in it that means it is still on ADC (acrobat.com). To see your folio download faster into the ACV, first publish the folio as Private/Free, doing so will move your folio to the Adobe Distribution server, which will correlate to much faster download speeds.

I haven't seen any unusual slowdowns today. One thing you can test is download a folio, archive it and download it again. The 2nd download should be much faster as the folio is now cached. If the 2nd download is as slow as the 1st then it points to a network problem in your region and not an issue with the service.

Downloads off the Akamai Servers can also be painfully slow.

It took nearly an hour last night to download MS Living August. Granted it was 700+ Mb;  but typically it would only take 5 minutes to download a similar size file.

If I was a casual subscriber, I would be blaming MS Living...not Adobe... and that sucks.
