business catalyst as fluid grid?

hey just started playing with dreamweaver cs6 and the 2 mains reasons were that fluid grid is included and 2nd  business catalyst.

 

But the templates for business catalyst are not responsive pages.

 

Is there a template already set up as fluid or

 

Is it posible to add the modules into the fluid grid set up without any heart ache

    Hi Dave, Not sure if anyone is making templates that are what I think your looking for is "Responsive".

     

    Quite a few mis-use of terms going around Adobe bit to blame but they get it right in lots of places too.

     

    - Fluid design is basically using floats, Been around for ages.

    - Adapative design - you use css, certain cases you do things that adapt based on some situations, even IE conditional stylesheets fall under this.

    - Responsive design - fluid design which is not just fluid but things adapt and change to suit not just the width of the window but the device it is aimed towards.

     

    All are basically evolutions off the same thing.


    Anyway, I think there are people like Simpleflame on their TribeVita site doing them? But Adobe BC is a tool, its more then a CMS but it is a tool for you to do what you like. I built my own framework to use and can be responsive and has fluid layouts.

    If you want it you can find any HTML5 responsive pure html templates and use those to insert BC modules, layouts and modify to put into BC.
