Hi,
This is my first website so apologies if this is ridiculously obvious.
As you can see I have a slideshow gallery using 'galleriffic' js query. I'm having issues with CSS formatting of a list - on my local site it displays fine, with no bullet points for the invisble 'thumbs' and text formatting for the 'prev' 'next' arrows. Once I upload to the remote server however this formatting is ignored giving me unwanted bullet points and smaller arrows.
The site is:
www.benwatsondesign.com
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thanks
Ben
Hi Ken,
Thanks for suggestion. Not sure that's it though as I think the most up to date CSS is on the site.
http://benwatsondesign.com/bwatson.css
The next and prev are in the 'controls' div which I have a rule for at the end of the CSS. The list that's appearing as bullets is in the 'thumbs' div.
On the remote site the rules for links seem to be overriding those for lists and the controls div - is this where the issue lies perhaps? Probably my not quite there understanding of CSS that's the issue!
I've checked your site in a couple of browsers. For some reason, the bwatson.css file that you point to is not being loaded. An older version is. It's sending a 304 Not Modified header.
I suggest that you change the name of the style sheet to something like benwatson1.css, and change the <link> in the <head> of the page. It seems as though the style sheet is being held in a proxy somewhere, which is why the new version isn't loaded when the page is.
