Why do I get weird rotation of objects from different layers ?

Greetings, Everyone !

I was trying to make a simple animation of a coloured stickman..with each of his limbs is on different layers (i wanna do that way instead of blending/grouping each other into single layer)

 


When I'm trying to make an animation of the stickman doing a 180 degree rotation with motion tween...which means that I make a keyframes on each layers that have same length and stops at same frame.....and then at the end of the keyframes I selected all objects and rotated them simultaneously and finally "Create Motion Tween"...

 

But after I played it, instead of proper 180 degree rotation animation of the Stickman I expected, all I got is that all of the objects(limbs,head,body) are rotating very messy and out of place, like the image I inserted...
How do I fix this problem so I can get proper rotation (with motion tween and separate layers) ?

P.S: I'm using Macromedia Flash 8 Pro (Can this also be a cause ?)

    select all those layers and convert them to a movieclip.  then rotate your movieclip.

     

    your movieclip will still contain all those distinct layers.

    If all you want to do is rotate it so that it ends up upside down, then you should create it as a movieclip and rotate the entire movieclip.

    but the case is, what if it is exported as videos such as AVI and MP4 ?

    And it is still with separated layers...since I'm not just making a whole rotation, but also an animation within an animation..(i.e : swinging arms while walking)

    it doesn't matter what format you use for export: you still should select all those layers and convert them to a movieclip.  then rotate your movieclip.

     

    if you want the arms to swing, convert each to a movieclip and animate the swinging.  then add the swinging arm movieclip to the stickman movieclip timeline.

    Wow, Thanks, everyone. It actually worked. But still only when on SWF format.
    Right now I'm finding a way to make it also work for AVI.

    Flash 8 uses an older Quicktime export process that does not support nested frames inside of a Movie Clip. MCs only render in the Flash player. Newer versions of Flash have a new Quicktime Exporter that exports dynamic content (ActionScript generated graphics and animation as well as Movie Clips) that play in the Flash Player. For Flash 8 users such as yourself, select the Movie Clip instance and convert it to a Graphic symbol (using Properties Panel) and make sure the main timeline has enough inserted frames tio  support the nested symbol's length. Rule of thumb: if you can play the timeline and see your animation from the main timeline in the Flash authoring environment, it will export to frame-based formats such as AVI, MOV, PNG sequence, etc...
