Adobe Community: nothing happens when i click 'download' in acrobat trial

Acrobat and Lightroom trials are direct downloads. Adobe Download Assistant is not used to manage the download.

Temporarily allow popups, disable the pop up blocker, or try using a different browser.

If clicking the yellow Download button does not do anything, check for the following:

1. Temporarily switch off any pop-up blockers.

2. Temporaily switch off any third-party toolbars or Add ons that may be blocking a direct file download.

3. Check firewall settings to see if file downloads are prohibited.

@KellyZastocki,

Do you see a new window open up? If not would still think that something on your browser is preventing the download window from opening.

I still was having the same issues, however, once I tried it through Safari and NOT Internet Explorer it worked!

I also tried everything above and like KellyZastocki, I installed Google Crome and everything worked just fine! Seems silly but IE just wasn't working!

The Acrobat trial is no longer being offered through the direct download option. This thread is still relevant to users who are downloading the Photoshop Lightroom trial.

Safari did it for me too. IE just sat there doing nothing.

I am able to see it in Chrome too but unfortunately cannot download it. It told me to turn off popup blockers which unfortunately I cannot do inside Chrome. There is no tab or bar where I can click to turn off popup blockers. It is for this reason I do not like Chrome. Sigh.
