How to deploy new app in 70 new iPads

We have created a DPS app that my client wants to install locally on 70 new iPads. Can someone tell me how can this be done. We have both DPS enterprise license and Apple enterprise license.

 

We would prefer not to have to go through each iPad and install via their UDIDs. Os there any better method, maybe publishing with private link somehow?

    Tony,

     

    You can use Apple's Enterprise Signed certificate to distribute the app within the organization.

    When the application is signed with an Apple Enterprise certificate, the application may be distributed within a corporation. (Distribution restriction is implied by the terms and conditions for the Apple Enterprise Developer program.) This means that anyone in the enterprise who installs the application can access all the content provided.

    … but this method would also require to have Adobe Enterprise.

    You can use the normal pro account and a normal apple dev account to bind

    your App on to 100 devices per year.

    @ Johannes : Tony has mentioned in the post that they have DPS Enterprise Licence and that they do not want to manually Add UDID's. Thus they can easily use Enterprise Signed Builds to distribute content internally.

    oops sorry, Looks like i have not read the entire post. than they are fine.

     

    apple in house (or ad-hoc) distribution also allows you to put the IPA on

    your server along with a manifest.plist file that describes the app (find

    an example in the apple dev help).

    then you can simply send out an email with a special link to everybody who

    needs the app and they can install it wirelessly without going through

    iTunes.

     

    very smooth.

    Hi Johannes, but the IPA still has to be built with the multiple UDID's though, yes?

    An enterprise-signed app does not need to list the UDIDs for devices, that's one of the benefits of enterprise certificates. For more information on the process, take a look at the article at:

    --- It describes the process and includes sample files for how to setup a system to distribute an iOS app for enterprise DPS customers. The end result is that a user can enter a URL in Safari on their iOS device and the app will download and install. No cable, no sync.
