installation of updated software

I'm running Production premium CS5 on my computer, just got the upgrade disk in the mail for CS6. I'm wondering what the best policy for installation is. Should I uninstall CS5 before installing CS6? I don't want to run both versions because my C drive is a 140BG SSD so I'm trying not to clutter it.

But I have a few more questions:

What happens to my preference settings?

Will old projects still work in the new software?

Is there a way for me to keep soundbooth without keeping the whole creative suite 5?

Does Audition have scores available for download like soundbooth does?

Thanks for your advice & help

Nothing. Adobe apps don't migrate settings to avoid compatibility issues. You will have to set them up from scratch or import/ export them, where possible.

Sure. that's the whole point of selling upgrades. Just be aware that this is a one way road and you can't go back and open an AE CS6 project on CS5... for specific issues and caveats, ask on the product forums.

Uninstall the whole suite, then run a custom reinstall and only choose SB.

    Ask in the AU forum.
