Hi there.. need a little help. Working in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, and all of the sudden my period key won't work, and the delete key wasn't working either. Then, when I press the period key, it deletes text. ???? Looked all over for answers but can't find a fix to this specific problem. I've restarted, and ran software update. This didn't fix it. Any ideas? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What is the exact version (patch) of Acrobat that you have where you are seeing the problem? Where do you observe the problem of period key not working - textfields or with any text that you type anywhere in PDF? Or is it something in Flash where pressing the period key deletes text? What OS (Win/Mac) are you on?
Hi there. Thanks for the inquiry. I am running Acrobat 9.5.1 and OSX 10.7.3. I am in the process of creating/editing a portfolio. The period key isn't recognized as a character when I type in text fields, also when I try to type information in the description field, say to annote an image file. This is a completely new phenomenon. I've undertaken this kind of portfolio editing before and never had this kind of trouble. Any ideas?
