From rtmp to mjpeg

I am looking for a solution to stream live content (webcam) from Flashplayer to iPhone and Flashplayer.

 

To stream from Flashplayer (browser) to Flashplayer (browser) isn't that difficult using Flash Media Server using a rtmp stream.

 

But know I want to stream this same stream to iPhone. This isn't possible at the moment, because Flashplayer doesn't support this yet, because of the wrong audio codec used by Flashplayer for the outgoing stream.

 

A solution for this could be to transcode the outgoing stream from Flashplayer to MJPEG using ffmpeg. Has anyone experience with this or is there another method to do this? How did you do it?
