I guess what I'm asking is, is it ok to purchase it now or should I wait a little longer? We usually wait at least 6 months after new software has been released.

We already know we want to buy it, we just don't want to get it if it's still got bugs or if people are still having a lot of issues with it. I know after software comes out, there are a lot of issues and patches that come out right after, so my department needs to wait until that's all worked out.

Like I said, try it out. Everyone has different workflows and it’s entirely possible that something that is a problem for others will never happen in your line of work.

My initial thought stands.

You buy the software today or tomorrow or 6 month later , software is going to remain the same. The bugs we find and reported by user are fixed with the updates that are free and come time to time inorder to improve the applications.
