Other monitors can be complex and tricky to get the calibration to work and work in your programs. NEC has made it very easy with this monitor. The calibration happens in the monitor itself, not in the graphics card like on many other calibration teqhniques. You also never have to touch the monitor. You set all of the desired settings in the calbration software and simply hit calibrate. The software will then tell the monitor everything it needs to do. Seting the white balance, color space, contrast ratio, luminance, gamma, all automatically. Open lightroom and your photos will never have looked so good or accurate in color. All thats left to buy is a color checker from Xrite.
