    I cannot save changes made in Elements 9 - each time I leave some time before returning to the organiser but it then shows "edit in progress" & the torn symbol..

    I have a new laptop with windows 7.

    After saving in the Editor press Ctrl+W (Cmd+W on mac) to close the file.
