Buttons not hiding

I have 2 buttons that turn a text box either transparent or opaque. I can get the buttons to effect the state, but I cannot get them to show/hide each other. I have the on button designated to show the off button and hide itself. It shows fine in the SWF preview, but when I preview on the iPad the buttons will not hide themselves. Any advice. I am on a Mac, CS6 and using dps ver21.

What you see in SWF has nothing to do with DPS. Not everything is supported and AFAIK, the show/hide function is one of them.
