Cannot Capture

Hi,

i got Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and a Sony HDR FX1000E.

My computer recognizes the camera.

When i want to capture something from the cam, I can hear the sound and see the video from my camera in the capture window. But i cannot capture it at all.

At the top of the window i got aways printed  "stopped" ("angehalten")

 

Im running Windows 7 64 bit

    Hey,

     

    Sorry to hear you encountered problems. Are you trying to import HDV-material or just DV? I'm sure you already checked this, but is your importing setting set to the appropriate format (HDV/DV)?

     

    With earlier versions of Premiere I have had a lot of problems when trying to import HDV.

    Yeah,

    John got my next suggestion It also might help to try another FW connector in the back of your computer (in case not working with a laptop).

     

    But Posselve: You surely have matching settings for your footage in File/Preferences/Device Control/Options?

    thank you guys, bought a new fire wire connector (LogiLink IEEE1394a PCI Card, 3+1 Port) and now it works.
