purchase from amazon?

Jul 15, 2012 11:33 AM

my trial has run out and i'm going to buy CS6 design standard, I have found it on Amazon for a little cheaper than I can get it from here.  I am wondering if there is a reason why I shouldn't order it from amazon, will it not be in my download history on my adobe account?  Will I still be able to get all the Adobe support?

You can register products no matter from where you purchased them and since the Adobe ID is now mandatory, this will happen automatically during install. just double-check that the seller is legit.

Just ensure that you're buying genuine software from a reputed buyer.

Note that there is a diference in buying from Amazon.com  and from the Amazon Marketplace. In the Amazon marketplace, users can buy/sell goods, and Amazon is not the seller, just the facilitator.

So it would be a good idea to check if the seller is Amazon.com. Look for the following:  "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com."
