I was so enthused by the Creative Cloud and the possibility of using Business Catalyst that I forgot to remember who I was dealing with. I've just spent the best part of an hour just getting more and more confused by the support offered. Come on guys, I expect better from you
It's really simple adobe charge Europeans a hell of a lot more for services than they do Americans. What is it going to cost my UK based client to use Business Catalyst for his Ecommerce site? Where do I find pricing that relates European Countries?
They only have a separate payment option for Australia, they bill UK users in $ and your bank converts it at their exchange rate + transaction fee depending upon your bank. Ok for annual renewals, not so great for monthly payments esp extra users with the transaction fee (£1.50 on each $5 extra user in my case - which I pass onto client). An annual single user e-commerce site at $420 comes in around £270, if you are getting clients to pay monthly it needs to be at least £35 ex VAT per month you charge them.
