Hi, I would like to Download a free trial of After Effects CS6 but it wants me to install AdobeDownloadAssistant to do it. I installed it but it won't run because it says that it doesn't find Adobe Air when I do have it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both programs but I still have the problem! Can you please help me? Thanks
Could you also post some details about your computer/operating system.
There might be an issue with AIR getting not getting updated, probably due to security restrictions. Coudl you manually downlaod and install AIR from http://get.adobe.com/air and retry launching the Download Assistant.
I already tried manually installing Air but I still have the problem... And actually I can't uninstall the "old" Adobe Air
My system is running Windoxs XP Family Edition Service Pack3 and is 32 bits and has 1GB of RAM
Ooooops: Ater Effects sais it needs 64 bits and 4 GB of RAM...
But I still have a problem! I can't uninstall Adobe Air! But after effects should still be able to start up and it is just the trial version...
And I was not following the "very important instructions" but now I did but I cannot go on the downlod link because it says:
You don't have permission to access "http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/AEFT/11/win64/AfterEffects_11_L S7.exe?" on this server.

Timoshu I would recommend reviewing the comments on the Prodesigntools.com site as there is likely additional clarification regarding the required steps for setting the cookie. Also if you haven't tried a different web browser yet please do so. You may even consider using a new, to you, web browser as you maybe experiencing interference from an installed add on or toolbar.
