Hi,
I've got a 90 page doc in InDesign 6, which exports reasonably well to HTML.
Two issues:
The ToC is completely ignored
The hyperlinks to anchors are also ignored.
I've trawled the help pages and I'm pretty sure I've got the settings right. So what have I missed?
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Lu
Hi - selected the Table of Contents, chose File...Export as Page Layout (with selection chosen). The HTML is blank, nada. The EPUB now skips it, The PDF exports but without the links (I think I can fix that one!) So OBVIOUSLY I am doing something wrong. I have used InDesign before but never these features, so it's likely a user error, and I'm happy to be slapped.
Well no.
I've an HTML technical document that needs to have a intial ToC of commands so that users can view the initial page and then click the link that takes them to the explanation of the command. It makes perfect sense! PDF docs are too large to expect folks to download, (some over 28 MB on our site) so to have a stripped down version of the doc with hyperlinks helps incredibly.
Any ideas on a workaround?
thanks
