You should have a prompt come up as soon as you open a locked PDF, what do you see when you open a locked PDF?

When I open the locked PDF on the iPad 2, I see black pages after the document is unlocked. No prompt came up.

Do you know what program was used to encrypt the PDF? And when you open it in Acrobat or Adobe Reader, are you prompted then to enter a password?

HI Alec,

Below are screenshots of a textbook in Adobe Reader X on my PC. File is locked.

Here is the file unlocked on my PC.

When I unlock this document or a similar document, I can see page 1 above, but page 2 is black or white, none of the pages display content.
