trying to figure out if i can get clients to download from my cloud space
Hi there - Only you can directly access your files from Creative Cloud. However, Creative Cloud makes it very easy to share a link to your files, or email directly from Creative Cloud. Currently, sharing is limited to individuals files, but enhanced sharing capabilities are coming soon.
So then there is ways to send a link so that clients can download in one way or another through me and cloud? My main concern is that i find it hard some times when you try to send a file to a customer and its to large and you have to set up a ftp explain how to use etc...or re-save at a lower resolution which no designer wants to do etc...
Absolutely. When you share the file like with someone, they are able to download the file in its original format, plus several other options. The screenshot below is of a file I shared that was originally an Illustrator file. There is an option to download the original .ai file, a jpeg version, or a .png version.
Of course, to open the original .ai file, the person I share this link with would have to have Illustrator installed.
To sum up, Creative Cloud allows you to share files which can be downloaded the original version of the file (including size and file type).
Hope this helped!
