How do I install Adobe Reader on to a pc not connected to the internet?

You may try downloading the full Reader installer in an internet enabled machine from

http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

and then take it to your computer in any suitable medium.

Tried that and copied it to a CD but couldn't get it install on the other pc

Then try downloading the appropriate installer from

ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win
