Free coffee bag promotion

My Client sells coffee & coffee related products and wants to offer a free 220g of Coffee with every purchase of $100 and free 500g of Coffee with every $150+ purchase. Is there are way of setting this up in Bc and if so, can the shopper also select the type of grind option required as setup in one of the products already listed?

    We do have related products framework where a product can be added to another product as a checkbox, but you can not really control these according to the amount inside the shopping cart. The only thing I can think of is if you were to place these gift products inside the featured products module inside theshopping cart and then check the amount inoide the shopping cart using javascript, then if the amount is > 100 reveal one of the products using JS and CSS and if it's > 150 reveal the other.
