I created an interactive presentation in InDesign and saved it as an .SWF file. This file opens perfectly on my laptop however no-one else seems to be able to even though they have the latest Flash Player installed. I can't work out what the problem is and it's driving me crazy!! I need to send the presentation to external clients so I need it to be easily accessible or they won't even look at it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Local SWF files will play in the Projector standalone player, not with the browser add-on. You can download it from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
Note that the download is the player, not an installer, so you will need to manually make the file association.
Thanks guys, I've managed to get it working finally!! I got my colleague to right click and hit open with internet explorer and it seems to open fine. Really appreciate your help.
It's not playing the video though which I can't work out but I'm going to keep looking / tinkering and see if I can make it right.
