HD files, .TS files.
In APP sequence they are in sync, play fine.
Export to AME, create a SD-DVD,
Import into Encore and audio is not in sync.
Any help please?
Have deleted cashe files, rebooted.

What CODEC is INSIDE that file? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... a screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing

I know that DirecTV does not allow a file to be copied from a DVR to any other device, the video must be played out to an external capture device of some kind
Are you saying that Dish Network allows you to copy files from their DVR to a computer?
If so, please go back to my previous message and use one of the free programs to read/analyze your source files, and post screenshots of the details
Have you tried exporting out to something a little more contained like a 10-bit Quicktime, using the Animation codec?
Then import that into Encore & allow Encore to handle the transcoding?
Usually works better in my experience.
Also, is there a delay set on the Dish gear at all? To maintain sync with my satellite setup I have to factor in a 40ms delay because of going through a separate amplifier.
It's also possible that a delay is being introduced somewhere in the setup - is the sync constantly out, or does it gradually drift?
No delay with sat. Running HDMI from Sat. receiver to Tuner card. Picture and sound is of great quality and in sync with the original files.
In sync playing in APP sequence.
In sync when export to AME and create a .mp4/.h264 file.
In sync when a I create a AVC-HD disc on a DVD-R using non adobe software.
NOT in sync when I send to AME and create a DVD-SD.
It's weird, it's in sync at first, drifts and does a glitz/hiccup, as if correcting itself, like a key frame hitting, and then it snaps in sync, and slowly drifts out again, and so on. Like every :30 sec. or so.
I did take a raw file over to the mac in hopes of getting around this and its still a prob. I did try creating a Prores MOV master file and that was out of sync too.
I don't know if you have same problem.
I have a .mkv file that I converted to an .avi file and then imported that one into Encore.
It is a movie 2 hours long and in Encore the audio were in sync in the beginning of the movie, 1 second ahead after 1 hour and 2 seconds ahead after 2 hours.
I tried many different things but then converted the .mkv file to a .mp4 file and then imported that one into Encore and then everything was in sync!
I hope this helps someone!
