Your Bridge cache may be corrupt. Try to purge the cache of the folder in question, or just right-click a raw file and select Purge Cache for Selection, followed by Generate High Quality Thumbnail.

You don't say much in your description. Has this onloy started to happen? Has it been working before? Is this one folder or all folders? More info please.

OK, I can assume you're on a Windows box then.  Would you care to share exactly what OS you're running?

Yes, you do need to Purge the Cache for the offending folders.  You may have to do that more than once.

Unclear why a "blue screen of death" required a re-installation.  Also, did you reset your preferences as this file unaffected by a re-install?  Hold down Ctrl and Start Bridge.  Should get reset window.  Choose all 3 options.

Did you have cache exported to folders option checked?  If so you will have to also purge each folder cache manually in Tools/cache/purge -----.

Blue screen of death is frequently a driver issue.

This sounds to me like you installed the updated plug-in incorrectly.

It's a common mistake to pick the wrong plug-in folder when copying Camera Raw. Unlike Photoshop plug-ins, plug-ins which work in Bridge must be installed in the 'Common Files' directory branch. On my computer, Camera Raw (Camera Raw.8bi) can be found here:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CSx\File Formats

Similar Photoshop-only plug-ins are located here:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CSx\Plug-ins\File Formats

Note that they are similar but different, and consequently quite easy to confuse. Also note that you should ONLY HAVE ONE copy of 'Camera Raw.8bi' installed (or two if you're running 64-bit Photoshop). So, if you previously installed the update in the wrong place, you should remove it, and put it in the correct place.

    Hope that helps.
